Junior Wedding Stationery Designer

About Anthology Print
We're a wedding stationery studio with 18 years and 4,000+ couples behind us. We design and produce letterpress suites, torn edge invitations, illustrated custom pieces, and semi-custom collections for couples who care deeply about the details. Our work is rooted in craft, and our aesthetic is intentional — romantic without being fussy, modern without losing warmth. We're building our design team and looking for someone who wants to grow inside a studio that takes the work seriously.
The Role
We're looking for a junior designer who can work across the full range of what we produce — from customizing semi-custom templates for new clients to creating original invitation designs and hand-crafted illustrations. You'll work within our brand aesthetic, take direction well, and bring enough creative instinct to add something to every piece you touch.
This role starts part-time with real potential to grow into more hours and eventually into client-facing design appointments as your confidence and familiarity with our work develops.
If you're a designer who wants to build a serious portfolio in the wedding stationery world — and actually learn how to design for print — this is a rare opportunity.
What You'll Do
Semi-Custom Orders
• Take incoming semi-custom orders and customize existing templates to each client's specifications — wording, names, dates, color adjustments
• Prepare and send proof galleries to clients for review
• Incorporate client feedback professionally and efficiently through revision rounds
• Move each order through the design pipeline accurately and on schedule
Original Design
• Create new wedding invitation designs for our online couples — original layouts, fresh concepts, on-brand execution
• Design marketing materials that are polished, on-brand, and print-ready
• Create custom illustrations: venue watercolors, monograms, florals, and motifs for fully custom clients
• Develop new templates and assets that can be added to our semi-custom collection over time
Print Production
• Design with print in mind — bleeds, margins, color modes, file formats, resolution. You know what a print-ready file looks like and you deliver one every time
• Understand the difference between digital and print color and account for it in your work
• Export and package files correctly for our fulfillment vendors
File & Asset Management
• Organize and maintain our Dropbox file system — client folders, template libraries, asset archives
• Keep files named, versioned, and structured so anyone on the team can find what they need
• Flag outdated or duplicate files and clean them up on a regular cadence
Client Communication (eventually)
• As you grow into the role, there's potential to join or lead design appointments face-to-face in our Rexburg Studio or on Zoom with clients
• Take client feedback directly and translate it into design direction without taking it personally and professionally
What We're Looking For
You're the right fit if:
01 You have a real portfolio — wedding, print, illustration, or editorial work that shows your eye and your range.
02 You're fluent in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or both — and comfortable in Canva for template work.
03 You understand print production. You don't have to Google what CMYK means or why 350dpi matters.
04 You're organized, dependable, and consistent. Client orders have real deadlines and real people waiting on them.
05 You can illustrate — hand-lettering, watercolor-style work, or venue illustrations. This isn't required but it's a significant plus.
06 You take feedback well and use it to make the work better — not as criticism, as direction.
A degree in graphic design is fine, but your portfolio will do more talking than your transcript. Show us work that's beautiful, print-ready, and done with intention.
